ARC Gun-Candle are professional polyethylene repair rods designed for repairing ski bases and snowboard bases using Poly-Gun repair tools. The rods have a diameter of 12 mm and are compatible with repair guns such as the ARC Professional Poly-Gun RP360 used in professional ski workshops.
Damage to ski bases often occurs after contact with rocks, ice or debris on the slope. Ski base repair or snowboard base repair typically involves filling the damaged area with polyethylene repair material.
When heated in a repair gun, the material melts and can be precisely applied into scratches, gouges or damaged areas of the base. After cooling, the repair forms a durable bond that can be scraped flat and prepared for further ski service operations such as base grinding, structuring or ski waxing.
